Tim's Change
Never again, never again.
Respect shall be paramount
No matter how much I fall in love.
It's gonna be my way or nothing.
I am loving, benevolent
I have wisdom and I know
How to doctor a woman's broken soul.
So I shall be leader, not her,
Next time I fall in love.
I initiate
She responds-
Any other order
Is unacceptable.
I am strong
And am strengthening
My weaknesses
Starting with my body
Then my mind, then my soul.
I lost a beautiful woman
Because I was weak
The pain was incredible.
Never again, never again.

No One To Love
Is for you
Or done while thinking of u.
I am your moon.
But clumsy am I
And a fool
And oft do I alienate
Those whom I love
And thus,
Am the Lonely Man.
So off I go
Seeking to bother u no more
Like a silly puppy
Clamoring at ur feet.
I can do other things
Things that lonely men do
When they have no one to love....

I'm Baaaaaaack!

.
Okay so I've started a committed prayer life again. And I'm gonna blog about it here. Yaaaay!

I just finished the first night of a Novena for a dear friend of mine. I started all agitated and flustered.

Mark, my best friend, who just moved in (Yaaaaay!!) and I prayed the Rosary and said prayers to Saints Dympna and Peregrine, patron saints of mentall illness and neurological disorders and cancer sufferers.

And now I feel soooooo peaceful and good and calm. Prayer has its fringe benefits.
Today is the first day and I will pray twice daily until April 8th. The day before my special friend will come to town and see me at work playing on my tables.... Such a nice thought and great timing.

Lets do a Redo in Manhattan Beach, baby!
.
Just me and you, dreamgirl!
Two good, good friends and lovers had a complicated weekend with unknown symptoms colliding with misunderstand after misunderstanding with some bipolar sleep deprivation and ADD impulsivity thrown in just to make it more interesting, And they both decided they really need and deserve a Redo.

They really, really like each other and walked into a difficult weekend, but, hey, there's always the second chance, right?

And he'll buy them dinner and have some beer and she may even tell him to take his Levitra if circumstances are right. He'll bring pillows and towels and massage oil and be grateful that his passenger front seat lies totally flat. And they can find a nice, private spot after its dark and steam up the windows!
Orrrr, if they're feeling really randy they may find a secluded spot on the beach and give each other those incredible, never-before, dreamy-eyed, heavenly xxxxxxxx.
Or they could just be two lovely young people who had a really good couple hours together.

Well, some time has passed by and things have changed
I had to say goodbye to my love affair with sweet Annie.
My heart just faded in my ardor for her. A combination of the 5200 miles of separation and the huge sacrifice it would be for her to move over into a real life relationship was too heavy a burden for me to carry.
I am hoping to be friends with her. For this, it seems I have to be patient.
I am thinking of using this blog to be a repository for my poems.
I said goodbye to Annie partly because I thought an Old Flame was interested in rekindling romance, but was sadly mistaken. We are still good friends, but that is all. So I killed Cupid again. But then...
Something happened on the way to the blogroll.
I met this star of a gal who is from Southern California and comes to Vegas frequently! She is kind, friendly, rich in heart and soul. I have never been so excited over a woman in at least a decade....
Perhaps I'll post some of my poems to her here. Once I show them to her first, though. When she is ready....

Yes, gentle readers (all 3 of you), I found a lover in Second Life!
She is flying over from England next week to see me for 14 days!
I just might have to change the name of this blog.
So, I shall bring Cupid back to life.
UPDATE:
Ok, Annie is now in the air flying over the Pond (that is the Atlantic in case you don't know) on her way to my hungry arms.
I thought I'd show all three of you more pics about our love life in Second Life.

I got a Dealing Job!!!

Folks, the next stage of my glorious career is about to begin...
I got hired at O'Shea's!
Me and 3 fellow pit clerks auditioned there 5 weeks ago. I was having a hard time looking for a dealing job and got all motivated by their suggestion to try this casino. Although, I was skeptical at first as I hadn't been there in 15 or more years and had this idea it would be a dive. But when we got there I was hugely impressed by the good looking interior, the atmosphere, the quality of the bosses, friendliness of the dealers and the customers! I don't want to work at just any casino, you know.
And when I found out how much in tips they made I was really pleased. Hehe. It's about the same income I made at my former employer!
The first time I chickened out on auditioning for Roulette since it had been 12 years since I had spun the wheel. But after 3 weeks I went back there to do so. And guess what I did on my first spin? LOL!
This player had this HUGE stack of chips bet on Red and it hit and as I was raking in the chips on the numbers I impulsively reached over and started raking his in.... Haha!! I felt like a fool stacking them back up, but I took a deep breath and started over. And 2 weeks later they called me in for an interview and hired me on the spot. Woo Hoo!!!
So, they said I will start in early June just as my special friend (might have to change the title of this blog, people) is done visiting me from England. Oh my gosh, folks! This is it! I'm on my way to the big time. Hehehe.

Harrah's owns O'Sheas which is the break-in house for the Flamingo Hotel- yes, the world famous casino started by Bugsy Segal himself. I've been told by 2 different sources that O'Sheas' dealers often get promoted to the Flamingo in about 6 months. And that is almost twice my previous income where the sods fired me. It is looking good over here, folks!

An apologia about my lack of blogging- no, I haven't died...

.
I suppose I should explain...
I am so sorry to any of my handful of faithful readers, (you know who u are) for my seeming disappearance from this blog. But the thing is, I have been sucked into Second Life.
Ever heard of it? Well, if you are prone to wasting time on the internet and like to chat and like to experience beauty and meet lots of interesting people, then don't join... You'll get addicted!
Oh my gosh, folks, what a ride! You get your own avatar, which you can fashion any way you like and meet these people from all over the world and have wild adventures... if you're prone to such things...

I have fallen in love, jumped out of a hot air balloon to parachute down below and then chatted with some Brits on the bottom of the Baltic Sea... I dance, I fly around the world, I teleport all over the place, and I make lots of friends...

I'm a bit unbalanced at the moment about it all. Perhaps my head will clear and I'll start providing tidbits for this blog.... So, know that I love you all and if you want to, leave a comment and I will tell you how to join up and we can tromp around this fantastic world for a bit.

Thou whoreson zed! Shakespeare, anyone?

Ah, the pleasures of delving into the riches of the Bard!
I did a Google search yesterday on his quotes. I came up with some doozies:
And thus I clothe my naked villainy
With old odd ends, stol'n forth
of holy writ; And seem a saint,
when most I play the devil.
For they are yet ear-kissing arguments.
Glory is like a circle in the water,
Which never ceaseth to enlarge itself,
Till by broad spreading it disperses to naught.
- Doubt that the sun doth move, doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt I love - Hamlet
- When sorrows come, they come not single spies, but in battalions- Hamlet
Thou whoreson zed! thou unnecessary letter!
-King Lear
Only a playwright would think 'unnecessary letter' would be an insult....
I do desire we may be better strangers.
As You Like It
Maybe I should repeat that to the blind date who changed her mind about a follow up date that we planned because I didn't give her all the details of the date fast enough?
More of your conversation would infect my brain.
Coriolanus
A good one when debating liberals....
And then here is one I really resonate with since I can't sleep for more than a few hours every single night:
O sleep! O gentle sleep!
Nature’s soft nurse, how have I frighted thee,
That thou no more wilt weigh my eyelids down
And steep my senses in forgetfulness?
2 Henry IV
So, what are your favorite Shakespearean quotes?
And be quick about it, thou thou unnecessary letter!
Dear ole mum- A pictorial review of the upcoming glorious career of the Lonely Man

So, the Lonely Man goes to dealer school a couple of weeks ago and discovers that he hasn't forgot a thing! He was told the week before by a dealer (who makes $80,000/yr) who stopped dealing for three years and then returned, that it's like riding a bicycle, you don't forget.
So the Lonely Man realizes he is ready to go to work as a dealer extraordinaire. He applies at the Flamingo Hotel

and Golden Nugget

and tells his mum about it.
So, mum gets on the network at her workplace (where she makes more than the other dealer)
and sets up a "meet" today. So, I am going to meet her at the Imperial Palace today at 1 pm. I am a little hesitant about that cuz I feel I can get a better job on my own. I mean Grace at work, a fellow pit clerk, is moonlighting at the Barbary Coast
and she thinks she's making a Bill a day, that's about $36,ooo/yr. And she got hired there as an inexperienced break-in! Hrrrmph! But I don't know how much the IP makes these days. Mum used to work there and tells me that I should just get a job anywhere I can to get the necessary experience to qualify for one of those previously mentioned high income levels. But I'd rather do it at a class joint that is making a decent amount of tips- wouldn't you? The IP doesn't enjoy the best reputation here in Vegas....
Perhaps I'm prejudiced. Oh well, time will tell....

NV Senator says Pharmacists' Role Akin to Shoe Salesmen....

State senator Michael Schneider (D, of course) basically states that NV pharmacists who conscientiously object to filling deadly prescriptions should just simply fill such orders even as shoe salesmen comply with their customers' shopping decisions. He is quoted saying, "When the doctor prescribes something for the health of the patient, they (pharmacists) have to do it. If they don’t want to do that, they can go sell shoes."
What an insulting bastard.
So, the pharmacist is essentially a mind-numbed robot, not able to provide professional bearing on the medical treatment of his patients? Sen. Schneider wants pharmacists to ignore the Hippocratic oath (First, do no harm) and dispense medical "treatment" that kills an innocent life. Hmmm, sounds to me like the politically correct gods disdain competition.
What an arrogant bastard.
No one, not any highly trained medical professional can defy the will of the PC deities who alone can wreak havoc on every child not yet breathing . They will decide if such pre-born mortals shall live or die. Not some "professional" who would put ethics above the will of the elite. Nor the governing board of said medical professionals; no, only the anointed, the elite, the death-mongering uber-men, can wield this holy power.
A flock of overbearing bastards.
"You shall be like gods," the serpent tempted Eve in the Garden, and, boy, do those politically correct principalities take the serpent seriously. The wrathful vengeance of these legislative gods overflows and who may stand in their path?
Senator Schneider leaves no doubt about the purpose of SB98, which would destroy the Pharmacist's right of conscience. Who cares if the Nevada Constitution says in Art. 1 Section 4, “Liberty of conscience. The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship without discrimination or preference shall be forever allowed in this state…the liberty of conscience is hereby secured…?”
What the hell authority does the Constitution have compared to the powers of the politically correct elite? The Constitution shall be trampled by the uber-men, it is only a trifle in their way. Nay, they shall not allow such technicalities to stand in the way of their doctrine.
What abusive bastards.
Nor shall they allow mere mortals to impose constitutional limits upon them. For they shall be like gods. So, Nevadans will stand idly by, while these evil bastards swat away the Constitutional rule of law and punish those that defy their will, won't they?
Can you say Nancy Becker?

Right thinking about our government

___________________Government agent?
Over at Bettnett, Dom's blog, who's family by the way, dearly needs your prayers, he protests a local governmental idea which would require a government-appointed agent to visit parents of newborns at the hospital or at home as soon as possible after birth, ostensibly to make sure everything was "alright". I can imagine what these agents would be looking for during such visits.
I protested this governmental intrusion in the life of the family by quoting the opening scene of Serenity, where River explains to the teacher why everyday people don't want to be meddled with (see first comment). Later I hit the nail on the head with a statement that expresses the proper way to view government:
The family and church are the government’s biggest competitors for control of society. Naturally, they seek to oppress those who would vie with them for such control.
It is our sacred duty and desperate need for survival to out-oppress them. To avoid civil war, the duty of which is written into our founding documents, we must vigorously and constantly dominate our government, we must beat them into submission, flog them into despair and mold them into the obedient little public servants that they are.
Already some have predicted a bloody civil war to stop abortion, look what it took to stop slavery. Freedom isn’t free.
We mustn't blanch at our sacred duty. Our children deserve to have this great experiment of freedom endure. The world looks to us to continue this rich republic and its wonderful ways.
Are you doing your part?

A quotable quote
From the Patriot Post email
