I'm in an awful way...

.
Well, folks, the Lonely Man ain't doing so good. I have managed to fall back into some of my obsessions lately and it is kicking my butt. Hence, the light blogging. I've been way distracted. Everything seems to be coming loose at the seams.
Please pray for me to have a completely repentant heart....
Also, my car is on the fritz! The bill is up to $1100 and they still haven't fixed it. Thank God for family....
But, I go through the company's orientation Wednesday and soon thereafter should be on a regular schedule, albeit not full time yet.

God bless

I just saw your request for prayer over at my blog and wanted to come over and let you know that I will be praying for you as well.

Tim, find someone at your church to whom you can speak to about the addictions you are wrestling with and get them into the light of day. Make yourself accountable to someone whom you can trust and nip this before it takes off running.

These things are hard to own up to but once you do, the weight of them is substantially lifted.

You've got some great prayer warriors praying for you (Hi Deb and Penni!) but you need to get thee to someone who you can be accountable to now before it gets any worse. I really hope you'll do that.

I'm praying here too, Tim. I'm struggling with my own addiction right now, trying to give up smoking and failing miserably. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Come over and visit me if you have time :)

Tim,

You're in my thoughts and prayers. I will lift you up during daily Mass and at Eucharistic Adoration. I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this rough time.

In the love of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, and our beloved St. Therese,

Jean

Wow, you guys are great. Or gals, I should say since you all seem to be thus. Girls are great....
It seems my icy heart is thawing, I just came from Mass and was refreshed by the experience. I must now get to confession.

Tim - I will pray for you. Hang a crucifix or rosary near the area where this sin occurs and if that is not possible carry a rosary in your pocket or hang a crucifix around your neck. Or the Miraculous Medal!

When you feel the addiction coming on - hold on to crucifix or rosary. Pray. Remove yourself from the situation. Find something else to do that gives you pleasure.
